Hitch-hiking in Spain?

Leonard...I think you'd be MUCH faster waiting for the bus.Unless youre
really lucky you'll be battling through unfamiliar industrial ring
roads,waiting around service garages in the middle of Castile and probably
looking for accomodation and getting stressed before you start.Buses are not
infrequent and if you time it right you could end up with a 'free' nights
snooze on a double seat and a period to see some Madrid sites or lie around
in Retiro park.
