Hi Ana,
Michael was referring, I think, to the general post office holding period in
Europe.
I have picked up packages in Santiago which I had mailed to myself more than
two months previously.  A great many of the package senders are pilgrims who,
I should think, are not realistically expected to complete the pilgrimage in
one month.
