Cell phones vs prayer

Hello everyone,
Just a short word on cellphones. I want to be available to my family in England if they have any sort of crisis and at the same time I have no wish to intrude on the quiet privacy of other pilgrims. I have bought an Ericson T39 which has a vibrating alert and will remain in stand-by mode for up to 25 days before a recharge becomes necessary.  Of course every time you use it, the time before re-charge is reduced. It is also a small phone which will fit nicely into my zipped top shirt pocket>
