Places to stay with a bike

We stayed at a mixture of hotels and refugeos, and all of them had a place to
store the bikes for the night. Several times we had to carry them to the
second floor. Most times it was inside their garage or storage area. One
time, in Portugal, they sent us to the public parking garage which had a
bicycle storage area. You may want to get the cyclists guide to the Camino as
it lists hotels that are "bike friendly". It also warns about the couple of
dangerous places. One town, don't remember the name" had a terrible concrete
road with deep drainage ditches crossing it. The road starts around a blind
corner on a steep downhill. Apparently one cyclist was killed on that section
of road.

Good luck on your trip and take enough tire patches. Bicycle shops are few and
far between AND they close from noon Saturday to 9 am Monday. I spent one
Saturday afternoon pumping my tire and riding as fast as possible until it went
flat. I was able to borrow a patch when we got to the refugio and ride until I
found a shop with patches.

Subject: Places to stay with a bike

Dear All,

Now trying to get my route sorted and finalised. Sorry if this has been asked
before.

Does anyone have a list of places to stay ( along the cycle route ) that
allows bikes? I am starting from Pamplona.

Thanks
Cledwyn
