Dear Rosina,

I read your note with tears and then read it again to my wife with more
tears.  For these I thank you.  The tears are so welcome and sometimes so
elusive.

At this moment, our tears, our prayers, and our conversation, struggling to
find the ways to talk together about this may be all most of us have in
reach.  They all seem small, but like the companionship you discovered on
the Camino and the people reaching out from simple meetings walking
together, they mend and re-weave the torn fabric of our relationships and
love.  Thank you so much for the care and honesty of your writing.  We will
be praying for you and your missing friends, neighbors, and students.
