I walked in may so I am probably no help but just yesterday I was reading
www.caminosantiagocompostela.com which has a number of first hand accounts
one from Alison Raju she has contributed to the Confraternity of St. James
Guides (I used it and it is excellent).  You can start there I also belong to
a more active discussion list (you will meet some of the same people) on
yahoo.  Go to yahoogroups.com and sign up for the santiglobis list and ask
the same question.
