The gift of life

I second Howard's suggestion that we move on to something positive. I would
like to start this. It was just a year ago that I heard the doctor say the
dreaded words: "You have cancer." It was a new and breathtaking experience
for me. In fact it took my breath away. Last May, I finished my last
radiation treatment in Atlanta, and began the long drive back to Los Angeles.
As I drove this long camino, I realized as never before, that life is a
gift. It is a such a gift. That great gift keeps the pilgrim from
focusing on the negative things along the way (like the cheats, or who is a
genuine pilgrim.) Each day that gift arised anew for us. So let us treat
each other kindly and with love as we walk on the way.

Yes, I am well, and plan to do the Camino with my wife some May.

Best
Craig
