Hotels along the camino generally cost about $25-$45 for a double.  I did not
always choose the least expensive and in fact splurged on the paradores which
are fabvulous and a bargain by American standards although expenseve
($70-140)-they are in Santa Domingo, Leon, Villafranca del Bierzo, and of
course Santiago.  I think you could probably find a place for $30 most
