phone calls

Just another quick question . . .  How does one go about making phone calls
while on the Camino, and approximately how much did it cost for those that
called home?  Also, thanks, Howard, for putting my mind at ease on the
passport issue.  I'd also like to thank everyone for all the replies I got
concerning ATM's.  I've since gotten everything in order on that front.
