We just came back from the Camino.  You can get the passport in St. Jean just
down the street from the refugio at a small office for the Camino.  Ask
anyone.  They also have maps showing different ways to get to Roncevalles.
Follow their directions as you get close to Roncevalles & don't follow the
arrows or shell signs because that path is much more difficult.  They also
gave us a pretty good list in French of refugios in Spain which we used.
