Hi Elizabeth.... can you give a few more specifics re this trip... This
sounds like a good plan
--Did you take the bus to Roncesvalles right from the airport? -- or go
into Pamphlona first? If so, by what means..bus/ taxi? Did you stay over in
Pamphlona?
--You get the pilgrim credentials in Roncesvalles... from the church? yes?
I suppose it is easy to find, or could you give some direction. Also, I
read somewhere that one should have a 'letter' from one's Parish priest
attesting to their status as a bona-fide church-member... is this actually
required?
--How/where did you pre-arrange the lodgings in STPP ?
-- Is the Botafumeiro swinging EVERY DAY in AUGUST.... all month? If that't
the case I might depart a bit earlier in order to get to Santiago in time to
experience that as well. Sounds great. Also, I presume the 12:00 mass is
every day??
--I'm traveling alone and would like to have as many 'details' thought out
before departure as possible.
thanks very much....
