Hi Gabrielle, I'd suggest one of those shade/rain foldable hats from Travel Smith (?). They did the job for us and went the whole distance. I should also like to, earnestly, suggest those fast-drying items of underwear which, I think, can also be obtained from Travel-Smith or some such. They are of significant help. Rosina
