Actually, mine are a fine, soft cotton which I know is not to be done
according to the purists, still they are so good and comfortable that I
bought the whole lot in a store that went out of business for next to
nothing, divided them between my daughters and myself and have never stopped
wearing them. I have not seen this kind of socks in any shop since, so you
may be better off to get the proper liner socks which all the outfitters
