Here's another vote for Smartwool socks with a polypropelene (?) liner.
Walked from St. Jean to Santiago without any blisters. When I would see the
time that fellow pilgrims would spend in the refugios tending to their
blisters every evening, I was grateful for having worn this combination of
socks.
