I don't think you have to worry about foot and mouth, unless there is a big change in the situation there.  Two weeks ago I returned to New York from two weeks hiking in the South of spain in very rural areas - which I reported when I arrived at JFK - and I wasn't even asked to walk through disinfectant, or anything - absolutely no problem whatsoever.
