Dear Ed,
Very few people will be shocked or offended by your sexual orientation.
Absolutely everybody does the Camino, the pious, the not-so-pious, gay,
straight, celebate, Catholic and not Catholic.  One of our most delightful
experinces was an albergue in Ruitelan, right before the climb to O
Cebriero. Check in to see if Cesar and Luis are still hospitaleros there.
They are gay Buddhists from Madrid--even if you do not stay, stop to say
Hello (Luis speaks some English). And don't miss San Froilan's chapel there.
