i walked from st jean to pamplona 3 years ago in late may. weather was very
nice, with little rain. temperatures in the 60s fahrenheit. 70s in pamplona.
there are dogs along the route, but ususally they are tethered and just bark
a lot. no dogs ever came near us. when the dogs bark fiercely one can pick
up a stick to show them and that helps. overall not really a concern.
