Wraff to you all !
My idea is that the Archdiocese is trying to get hold of the Camino -
however they just give you a pamphlet - but have nothing to do with the
infrastructure of the Camino ( no alberques, no help, no nothing ( well if
you're in for the silence and the coolness of the roman churches along the
way, your all right). By having people stamp there credential twice it is
possible that Spanish cyclers and runners ( who see it as a cheap holiday
for the alberques cost next to nothing), will abstain and so "the more
serious"and even "religious" pilgrims, get what they need under the
collapsing infrastructure.
...and in the same time making it a Roman Catholic ( I myself became one
after the Camino- but very critical) Way and NOT a cultural heritage of
Spain and of the World.
Annexation is the word. !
I hope I made it clear to you, however I doubt if you put the question: they
will deny it
