Sorry, I should have been more clear.

The above three terms appear in C23 and the latest draft of C2Y.
So all about the C standard.

Should their use be made consistent to reduce confusion?

To start the conversation, how much disagreement would there be to use the 
simplest, i.e. "rounding mode".
