Fred and I are in agreement on the following for the last sentence in the new words for 7.12.6.4 [2]:

If the type of the function is a generic floating type, the exponent is an integral power of 2. If the type of the function is a decimal floating type, the exponent is an integral power of 10.

Look ok?
