Town Food,The Hikers I talked to last week had various plans but many said they were skipping up to Old Station/ Hat Creek after KMS.  They were going to play it by ear after that, unsure what to do next.

Hello PCT-L,

Does anybody have a sense of what kind of schedule people are hiking on 
this year, considering the snow level?  Particularly, when are they 
going to enter the Sierras?

I usually try to do some trail magic near Truckee around late July, but 
with the snow level this year, it seems like that might be far too soon. 
  Maybe they won't even be able to *enter* the Sierras until late July?

So, any ideas what people are doing this year?  Skipping over the 
Sierras until after they've reached Manning?  Hitching from Kennedy 
Meadows South to Ashland, then going southbound?  Something else?  Will 
I see thru-hikers near Truckee in late July?
