ARITH-15: 15th IEEE Symposium on Computer Arithmetic
CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The 15th IEEE Symposium on Computer Arithmetic, ARITH-15, will be held
in 2001, somewhere in the world. So far, the location has alternated
between north America and the other countries. ARITH-14 will take place
in Australia, hence north America might be  favoured.
If you are willing to organize ARITH-15, please send a file (LaTeX or
plain text) to the ARITH steering committee chair, Milos Ercegovac
(milosacs.ucla.edu) with a copy to the ARITH-14 general chair,
Jean-Michel Muller (Jean-Michel.Mulleraens-lyon.fr), before the end of
march 1999.
The file must describe
the location, and give the name of the local and general chairs (they
can be the
same person), describe the local facilities, suggest dates and possible
co-sponsors (one sponsor being the computer society).
The proposal can also suggest (co-)program chairs names but this is not
mandatory at that step of the procedure.

Of course, it is strongly suggested that the applicants should have been
implied in the ARITH community. It is recommended that the general and
PC chairs be at least past ARITH authors and preferably past members of
ARITH program committees.

The steering committee will make a decision during Arith14.
