>From the prospectus:

Support for 1152x900 graphics, 256 colors, suitable for
	standard multisync PC monitor

Depends on what you're used to. After you've been browsing the web at
1280x1024 at 16 or 24 bits for a while, going back to 1152x900x8 is
like reverting to 8-bit sound after getting used to 16-bit. Hi-fi is
addictive.

System cost, excluding monitor, under $5000

Hi-Tech USA will sell you a 200MHz 64MB Pentium Pro, 4MB Matrox
Mystique, 2GB disk, 16x CDROM, Sound Blaster 32, Win95 installed and
running, and the Microsoft Encarta/Money/Works/Bundle CDROM, for
$1,915. Adding in the 100Mb ethernet and Red Hat Linux takes you a tad
over $2K.

It is a nice question what the $5K-paying customers think they are are
getting for their $3K premium, and what they are actually getting.
