comp.arch.arithmetic alive and well, by usenet standards

I would gateway comp.arch.arithmetic into numeric-interest, but there are
already over 100 postings in less than a week, so I won't bother.   At least
a third have useful content, which is high by usenet standards.

Current topics are correctly-rounded transcendentals, fixed-point arithmetic,
non-restoring division, and topics for the FAQ which everybody wants but
nobody wants to write.
