ANSI C, page 208, F.5 Common Extensions
F.5.6 Other Arithmetic Types
Other arithmetic types, such as long long int, and their appropriate
conversions are defined (3.2.2.1).
Is 3.2.2.1 in the above correct, and why? I see that 3.2.2.1 talks
about array conversions and function conversions. I believe that
3.2.1.5 Usual Arithmetic Conversions would be more appropriate.
