The floating-point and performance group of SunPro, the Sun subsidiary that
develops compilers and tools for professional software developers, has been
authorized to hire a senior mathematical software person to work on tuning
standard libraries for high performance on current and future SPARC-based
multi and uniprocessor systems.

This will be a somewhat new direction for the group, which currently consists of
Keith Bierman, Peter Farkas, David Hough, Alex Liu, K-C Ng, and Greg Tarsy,
manager.

Inquiries may be directed to Greg Tarsy: gvtaeng.sun.com
