			Position Description

Performance Engineer to support the evaluation and demonstration of
high performance of various platforms with SunPro compilers.  This
will involve benchmarking of user programs as well as standard
benchmarks, analysis of their performance and enhancement of
performance by program tuning, system tuning, suggesting and perhaps
implementing compiler enhancements and other performance support
software.  Requires MSCS and 10 years experience or equivalent combination
of training and experience.  Experience should include parallel architectures, 
other high performance computers, as well as wide variety of software
applications and a willingness to complain and file bug reports.
