A version (2.2?) of the LCAS was published in ACM SIGPLAN Notices,
Vol. 25, No. 1, January 1990, pp. 59-86.
Version 3.0 (dated December 26, 1990) of the LCAS was presented to the
NCEG at the March 4-5, 1991 meeting.
A postscript copy of the Language Compatible Arithmetic Standard
(version 3.1, first committee draft, dated 1 March 1991) is available
