My father received the gift of fairly good physical and mental health for
most of his life.   I imagine he'd agree that it's not how long you live,
but how long you live healthily that matters.

In return he gave his children the gift of putting his affairs into as good
an order as possible while he still could.    I would like to do the same
but I had better get busy doing so before I can't.

Growing up in the army, it wasn't possible to accumulate a lot of stuff,
but living in the same house for 40 years, it is very possible to accumulate
too much stuff!   And that's the situation I am now, and perhaps many of
you too.
