Subject: 9 Jul 2009 - Nostradamas, 1962.
About 1960, we came into some oil money and decided we could
afford a typewriter. Of course, every child in the family thought it
was a marvelous toy and soon learned to hunt and peck through all sorts
of messages and writings. We showed them how they could make all the
letters which were so hard to print in school, and soon they had to take
turns with the typewriter. You did not have to copy the newspaper, or
your textbook; you could actually write your own stories. Here is one
story we found prepared by David Hough, probably written about March,
1962, just after his thirteenth birthday.
"Selected headlines from the /Terra Times (New York Times), /unless
otherwise stated:
October 4, 1957 - Russians send Sputnik I up.
January 31, 1958 - America sent up 1st satellite.
February 28, 1959 - Discoverer program started.
September 12, 1959 - Lunik II hits moon.
April 1, 1960 - Tiros I orbited.
August 11, 1960 - Discoverer XIII launched, recovered.
Dec 3, 1960 - Discoverer XVIII launched.
Starting September 20, 1960 - Feb 9, 1961 - Russia secretly launched 25
flying H-bombs.
January 29, 1962 - Mercury capsule malfunctions, Communists capture
pilot......
(from an article by Brigadier General John Glenn) 'The thing goofed
off in the night, and the light had gone out from the shock of the
takeoff. I could not see where I was going and I couldn't do anything.
As it happened, it was Russia. On the 30th they nabbed me and I tried
to destroy the capsule to no avail. They wisked me off to some remote
place. Everybody knows whatt they do to obtain the 'truth.' Through
the astronut training, they had dropped those 5% who would falter. They
finally gave up and held a big trial. One little detail though .. no
admittance of the public & press... said it would be too crowded or
something... (they learned something from F. Powers.). One night I
noticed the janitor left the key inside. Then, taking advantage of this
stroke of luck and slipped out of the jail. It had happened that an
agent of the CIA has distracted the janitor on purpose. After passing
several guard posts, I decided my escape was no accident. Actually it
was easy to escape, everything had been figured out. Often we beat the
"secret police" by a matter of minutes. We met the Nautilus in the
Black Sea, and the Russians cursed my name on the mention of it thereafter."
February 13, 1962 - Because of greatly increased international tensions:
the loose African Confederation formed.

Feb 22, 1960 - Assasin executed
March 3, 1962 - North American Association discovers plans of U. S. S.
R., attacks next day.
(article by General White.) "The day we found out about the plan was
a total nightmare in the Pentagon. There were Presedential conferences,
Navy conferences, Army conferences, Air Force conferences, etc. Finally
someone conceived Project Triggerhappy - a totally unheard of strategy.
The idea was to attack first - after all, we were justified if some
contry would start an A-war, they deserved to get it right in the back -
expecially after all that peaceful coexistence business. Naturally
there was a lot of "rather get shot than to shoot first" routine, but we
managed to get it through the N.A.A. Then there were N.A.T.O.,
S.E.A.T.O., & C.E.N.T.O conferences."
The next morning 2&1/2 billion people were astonished to find that
World War 3 had commenced overnight. Stalingrad, Leningrad, Kiev - all
were radioactive mist. Fenver, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, New
Jersey, Philadelphia, Connecticut - the same.
March 4, 1962 - nothing happened. Recovering from initial shock in both
countries.
Mar 5, 1962 - Gregory Bikpuss, a former German army colonel, escaped a
prison camp, in the confusion took over the government and appealed for
peace to the western powers.
March 6, 1962 - before the western powers could act on Bikpuss' proposal
, he is shot by order of Malynski, a mad-man lunatic and a true
communist. "M" takes over and was as bad as Mao.
