<P style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Listsubscribers with an interest in Spanish art
and history may be interested in an exhibit soon to open at the Seattle Art
Museum (<A title=http://www.seattleartmuseum.org/
href="http://www.seattleartmuseum.org/">www.seattleartmuseum.org</A>) “Spain in
the Age of Exploration 1492-1819” running from 16 October 2004 through 2 January
2005. According to advance publicity, the exhibit will include works by
Velazquez, el Greco, and Goya and a number of items owned by the Patrimonio
Nacional from museums like el Escorial, ones never before shown
outside Spain. The publicity also states that museum will be the only venue in
the US. On 12-13 November there will be a Symposium on the subject with a number
of well-known experts on Spanish history and art participating.</P>

<P style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">If you have a layover at the Seattle-Tacoma
Airport, there is frequent express bus service (Metrobus Route 194) from the
airport to the downtown bus tunnel, and University Street Station is about 2
blocks from the Seattle Art Museum which is located at 1001 University Street.
