Meredith,

Make sure to visit the Cathedral in Leon. It is a totally "jaw-dropping" and awsome experience. Pray for a sunny day when seeing the stained glass windows. The first time I went it was a beautiful sunny day....magnificent! My second camino, it was raining and was such a disappointment. Have a wonderful Camino....and by the way, there will be plenty of people for you to meet at that time. Ann

MEREDITH BOYLAN <mlreneebaYAHOO.COM> wrote:

Hi,

My boyfriend and I will be walking part of the Camino in August (appx. Aug. 8-20). This is the first Camino experience for both of us. We're thinking about starting in Leon and making our way to Santiago. We are fit, sturdy, avid walkers -- does this seem like a reasonable distance to complete in twelve days?

Also, is anyone else planning to be on the road at that time?

Thank you for any advice you can offer,
