<P>I left SJPP on May6th and crossed the Pyrennes(the low route) in rain ,slush, snow and mud. Had a few more difficult "boot sucking" muddy days to deal with before stopping in Viana 8 days later. Took the bus to Bilbao(museaum/architecture junkie). Then bussed to Burgos (cathedral), then to Ponferada to start walking again. Had great weather all the way to Santiago, arriving May24th. A gang of us that had formed the last week of walking carried on by bus (we had a couple of cripples) a few days later to Finesterre. One of the best things I did on my Camino.</P>
<P>Thanks to the listserve for all the great advise and discourse. Please email me if there are any questions you have and I will try to answer them.<BR><BR>Thanks to Rosa for the Hotel Rua Villar in Santiago recommend, it was perfect.I also recommend booking into some of the albergues privados on your walk, sometimes a few more amenities and comforts than the municipal ones but still all the camino comeraderie that you would miss out on if you booked into a hostal.</P>
