<P>My primary reason to visit the church was the Pantheon Real (very Romanesque) from about 1100 as I recall. It is the burial vault for the numerous kings, queens, etc., of the Leon and Leon y Castilla political formations. Not all tombs were in great condition but important nevertheless. Cool temperatures during hot days ! </P>
<P>The Library can be toured and holds a Bible from 9XX or so, a chalice from Donna Urraca and other period items like major vestment displays. </P>
<P>Ostensibly according to their anecdotal information, San Isidoro is a patron saint for computers/ those pursing or working with them (!!). I am rather weak on my patron saints to be honest! </P></BLOCKQUOTE><BR><BR>
