Go to the Post Office in Santiago (close to the Pilgrims' office) get a couple of large boxes and send the stuff to yourself. The post office will give you tape, cord, and whatever else you may need to seal the box.
Suggestion: make sure that you tell them that you want the package(s) to go "en la superficie" (on the surface) or "por barco" (by ship). It will cost you only about 20% of the cost of sending anything by air. And, you will get the packages; it will take five to six weeks to arrive, but they will arrive.
I've sent to myself dozens of packages that way and have never lost a single one.
Caveat: they do NOT speak English at the Post Office (French and Italian, maybe), and they will automatically send the packages by air unless you tell them, very clearly, and in advance, that you want them to go by ship.
