A German pilgrim, Ingmar Stoll, completed a pilgrimage from Hamburg to Fisterra riding his horse "Mocca" and accompanied by his dog "Benjamin".
Mr. Stoll is a 27 years old carpenter affiliated to the Hamburg Association of Free Professionals that allows its members to work anywhere in the world. He started out in Hamburg 9 months ago but spent five months working in France.
After reaching Santiago he rode on to Fisterre and Muxia, always accompanied by his dog that rode the horse from time to time.
In Muxia they stayed in the orchard of the Sanctuary's rectory. Moved by this hospitality Mr. Stoll has offered the services of his association to help build an albergue in the town, since more and more pilgrims go on to Fisterre and Muxia from Santiago.
For himself, Mr. Stoll said that he was delighted by the extension of the Camino and particularly impressed when he reached "the beautiful sea".
Regards,
