<HTML><FONT FACE=arial, helvetica><FONT SIZE=3 FAMILY="SANSSERIF" FACE="Franklin Gothic Medium" LANG="0">The booklet that I have is a retelling of a simple human tragedy viewed from the eyes of brethren monks and written around the last letters that the monks wrote. The booklet says that, in fact, the monks had months in which they could have left, and that their own Father Superior, who wrote the booklet, went there in person to urge them to leave reminding them that the Church needed live working monks and not martyrs, of which the Catholic church is chock-full. The Father Superior also writes about going to Algeria personally after the beheadings to claim the bodies and to bury them. <BR>
