As you probably know, the second most traveled pilgrims' route to Santiago is the Northern Way. This route is reputed to be absolutely beautiful and very accommodating to pilgrims since they do not number anywhere nearly as many as those in the French Way. Saint Francis of Assisi, among many other notable pilgrims, is believed to have walked the Northern Way.<BR>
