I have walked the Camino I find most of the chatter I have received from
outlying online places to miss the whole point of the Camino which is to enter
into an incredibly spiritual experience. Although I represent only one person
out of the thousands who have walked it since the 8th century I walked it in
the spirit of Jesus who said to the Apostles, "Take no gold, nor
silver, nor copper in your belts, no bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor
sandals, nor a staff; for the laborer deserves his food. And whatever town you
enter, find one who is worthy of it, and stay with him until you depart".
