<blockquote TYPE=CITE><font size=+0>Is the trail well marked from Santiago
to Finisterre?...with all those yellow arrows?</font></blockquote>
Route out of Santiagoa bit tricky but from there on one would have to work
pretty hard to get lost. Use discretion however, the route is laid
out to avoid roads a much as possible and the markers will lead you on
a long walk to avoid a short stretch of road. This is evident on
the second day, there is a sign along the route pointing to a bar (an absolute
necessity as this is the first chance to get a coffee) if you follow the
short route to the bar then return and follow the markers you will end
up after 20 minutes of walking along the route about 100 m from the bar.
<blockquote TYPE=CITE><font size=+0>Is it very separate from the road?</font></blockquote>
In most cases yes except a few stretches along country roads where the
traffic you have to watch out for is "High Speed" cow herds, (Watch your
step) and a few stretches in the villages.
