I'm glad you mentioned that you will follow up any contact with people via private email. I enjoy the Camino listserv, but do not enjoy reading others' comments to antagonize each other. So I (and I'm sure many others) would really appreciate it if the listserv was used for it's purpose (people talking about the Camino and getting info for their trips, etc) and not as a place to vent your frustrations to other people, or whatever this email was about. I know that people put personal messages on the listserv all the time, and that usually happens because when you press "reply" it goes to the entire listserv instead of the person who sent the message.. so maybe if you have a personal comment and don't have the time to cut and paste the sender's email into the address line, you could put To: Person's Name in the subject heading, so that I (and any other listserv members) do not have to go on reading emails that are meant to put down other people, !
or just aren't relevant to me. Again, I really enjoy the listserv and its helpful and interesting contributions!! I just don't want to have to read emails from people that really don't seem to be relevant.. would really appreciate it if you sent those directly to the person who you are directing the comment at.. sending it to the entire listserv seems to only serve the purpose of making people unhappy.. it just seems silly to me! Thanks, Carolyn
