<P>As a former resident of Washington, DC who is there at least evey other month, I offer the following advice: Amtrak is a reasonable way to get to Williamsburg from Washington, but if you plan to combine a train trip with an international or transcontinental flight, fly into Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) where there is a train station. Getting from Dulles to Washington Union Station or Alexandria station is time consuming and can be quite expensive. Washington National Airport has a Metro Station, and it takes about 25 minutes to Union Station or about 10 minutes to Alexandria Station where the Williamsburg bound trains stop, but aside from a handful of flights to Las Vegas and Seattle, National offers only shorter distance domestic US services. <BR><BR>E.
