<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Hola:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>I am Jim Allen from Seminole, Florida. My son and I
bicycled the Camino following paved roads near the trail from Pamplona to
Santiago in September, 2000. We had 85 degrees and not one drop of rain,
no flat tires, no lost spokes, no problems to speak of. We ate a lot and
drank tons of liquid, water, wine, and beer. We entered three towns that
had fiestas and I highly recommend them if you can possibly schedule them.
The towns were O Cebreiro, Ponferrada, and I forget the other one. We
slept in hotels but were prepared to stay in Albergues, it just didn't
happen. It was a trip of a lifetime for a 64 year old retiree and his
son. Now I am drawn back to the Camino and am planning to walk most
of it with my daughter in 2003, September. Now I am interested in
backpacks and proper footing. I will search the archives before I ask any
further questions. </FONT></DIV>

days. Suddenly it's over. Wait a minute. That was too
fast!</FONT></DIV>
