<HTML><FONT FACE=arial,helvetica><FONT SIZE=2>Marty, we took a sleeper car from Santiago to Madrid just a bit over a week
<BR>ago on 6/5. It left at 10:25 pm. It was a private car for just the two of
<BR>us and it had an inner lock you could use to completely feel safe b/c it
<BR>allowed you to lock the door from the inside. The person who minded after
<BR>the train car knocked on our door 45 minutes before we were scheduled to
<BR>arrive in Madrid (7:30 a.m.) All very civilized.

<BR>I will add however that the train was pretty darn jerky. It was not a smooth
<BR>train like the overnight we took from Leon to Barcelona last year.
<BR>Therefore, we didn't sleep nearly as well as we did a year ago. Best wishes.
