variables to note that "James" translates "Jacobus" (in Greek), so it is
actually the name Jacob--a relatively common Hebrew name, since it is the name
of one of the patriarchs. "Mary" isour translation of the Greek
version of "Miriam"--also a popular name, since she was the sister of
Moses. So in a sense it is not surprising that these names
