[Gocamino] time to shut down gocamino at oakapple.net?

David has been our long term purveyor of the Camino ethos. The Camino has taught us all volumes about ourselves, the Spanish people, and the Way itself. I love the rabbinical way you phrased the announcement .. as a question .. 'is it time?'. Things have changed so much over the years. My first Camino was with just a CSJ guide, all words no maps. We got a Telefonica phone card to call home. Now the offline maps reside in my unlocked iPhone. My last five Caminos were all paperless since all maps, tracks and guides reside in my móvil. The Francés has simultaneously become a real zoo, and we are all seeking out the Way less traveled. It's changed my life, and not in subtle ways. Although I maintain a residence in Ojai, CA I've basically not gone 'home' after my last Walks. I now walk to church weekdays for the 6:30 AM Mass in a city and a parish that has embraced me. I'm a lector for the 6:30 AM and a greeter and usher for the 10:30 AM Sunday Mass. I am officially blessed. It all started with that rather longish walk to go to church in Spain. Who knew? This list serve was both prep before and decompression after the Walk. People I knew on the list who I later met in real life. Since this is, after a fashion, my last missive to many of you, be well, have faith, walk often, love much and forgive much. Thank you David. You made it all possible.

Is it time to shut down this list?    Like many other old-school
mailing lists, it has been superseded by Facebook and other channels.
