[Gocamino] [saintjames] 1420km - 80 days - barefoot to Santiago

In the Spanish e-sites this pilgrimage, well documented by the press,  is called "Two million steps; a Promise (to the pilgrim's mother)".  The daily occurrences are pretty familiar to all pilgrims.... except that this one pilgrim goes it barefoot.
The pictures are attention-getting, particularly those of bruised feet, but the references to recourses therefor are very interesting.
Yet, the appearance of a help-at-hand obtrusive helicopter negates the nature of what the Santiago Pilgrimage means..... or used to mean, anyway.
