[Gocamino] [Santiagobis] Hiking Poles - Stansted Airport UK

Hi,
I hope you will all excuse my cynicism but has it been checked with 
Ryanair that they will accept the poles separate to the one bit of cabin 
baggage or must they be placed within the cabin baggage?
