[Gocamino] Interesting book on pilgrimage

I am currently reading an interesting book about pilgrimage in general.  "Image and Pilgrimage in Christian Culture," by Victor and Edith Turner.    

It sometimes reads like a sociology textbook, with words like communitas and liminality sprinkled in.  But to anyone who is a student of pilgrimage, this kind of steps back and looks at many different pilgrimages over the ages.

To me, it is worth reading.  It is about 250 pages, so not super-long, but not light reading.
