Hola Kimberly,

Unfortunately, you need to walk more than just from Arzua to qualify for the Compostela. 
It's only the last 100 kilometers which are noted when you talk to the folks in the Pilgrim's Office. 
You can be disqualified even if you walked from Paris to Santiago, but take a taxi for 1 km within that final 100.

The Pilgrim's Office will be looking for two criteria: 
1) you did the big walk for 'spiritual' reasons ..
2) you walked the last contiguous 100 km.   
On the Camino Frances this means from Sarria to Santiago, about 113 km. 

All that said, it's the about the Way within, it's not the Compostela that makes you a Pilgrim.
